Kota Kinabalu

            Kota Kinabalu (as K.K) is one of the best vacation places in Asia.  Kota Kinabalu is the capital of Sabah, a state of Malaysia.  First of all, Kota Kinabalu has a good tropical climate.  For instance, the temperature is about thirty degrees Celsius, the temperature can down when it is rain or in night.  The sun is always present even when it is cover with cloud.  Kota Kinabalu is located near the sea so the climate is not only tropical but also has humid and strong wind.  So, you can enjoy the summer longer.  Second, Kota Kinabalu has various cultures.  Bahasa Malaysia is the national language but English and Chinese are also widely spoken.  Besides, there are many religion in Malaysia such as Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Chinese religion, Tanism, etc.  So, when you come here, you can discover many interesting about that.  For example Tua Pek Kong Chinese Temple, Che Sui Khor Temple, etc.  Third, Kota Kinabalu has much wonderful architectures.  The State Mosque is the most beautiful building in Malaysia.  It is located near the sea.  It is a white mosque.  It can be the symbol of Islam religion.  It is also free for visitors.  Sabah State Museum is the historical building.  It used to be the place which use for exhibit such as art, history, education, local cultures.  It is also the museum of Islamic Civilization and Sabah's historical.  Merana Tun Mustapha also calls Sabah foundation building.  It is a wonderful building which thirty floors were made from steel and glass.  It is a cirular tower located in the center of the city.  Inside the building, you can find an auditorium, two mini theatres, a gymnasium, kindergarten and research library.  It also has a restaurant on the eighteenth floor. It is a great place for have dinner and sightseeing.  Fourth, Kota Kinabalu has much attractive scenery.  The Tumku Abdul Rahman Park, located near the city, is one of the top tourist destination.  It is also the biggest national park.  It is a perfect place for relaxing, discovering the tropical wood, animal. It is also a good place for picnic or activity outside.  Seafood Night Market is a famous night market because this night market has many kind of seafood and its locate is also special.  It is located between the beach and Le' Meridien Hotel, a famous hotel of the city.  It is also a big night market. Central Market is one of the biggest markets in Kota Kinabalu.  In here, you can buy any fresh foods, vegetables, seafood.  When you go around the market, you can see many markets.  You can buy gift, handmade crafts, etc.  Fifth, Kota Kinabalu has many beautiful beaches.  Pantai Dalit Beach is a nice beach.  It takes forty five minutes from downtown Kota Kinabalu.  It is a wonderful beach with white sandy and sunshine.  It is a good place for walking, water sports, picnic, relax, and sunbath.  Tanjung Aru Beach is located about three miles south of Kota Kinabalu.  It is one of the best places for weekends.  When you come there, you can relax with family and friends.  You can enjoy romantic sunset in the beach.  It is wonderful.  Final, Kota Kinabalu has many wonderful hotels. Shangri La Hotel is one of the best and famous hotels in Kota Kinabalu.  It is also a luxury resort.  The special thing is the resort located next to the beach side.  You can walk from resort to the beach.  It does not take too much time.  So, you can enjoy the beach with water sports, swim, discover the underwater life or you can enjoy relax services of the resort.  You can also enjoy the Malaysian Foods.  It is a good place for enjoy the beach and foods.  Promendate Hotel is also a good place for people who want to live in downtown.  The hotel is located in the heart of the city.  So, you can enjoy shopping, entertainment, business, discover the ancient architecture of Kota Kinabalu.  If you want to go to the beach, you can take a taxi.  It does not take too much time for going to the beach.  In conclusion, if you have a vacation and you want to travel at Southeast Asia.  There are many great places for you.  But one of the best places is Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
